Educating Future Aviators

What goes well with tuna salad on campus? Embry Riddle Aeronautical University’s Lunchtime Learning series invited The Registry of Aruba and Bombardier to share a presentation introducing students to careers in business aviation this January. Students heard from flight testing engineers, electronics managers, and service specialists working at Bombardier, a leading player in the design and manufacture of business jets, about career opportunities in crafting these unique machines. Meanwhile, The Registry of Aruba joined Aruba’s DCA in explaining their public-private aircraft registration partnership, the role of civil aviation authorities, and the essentials of servicing the aviation industry. One future aviator of note in attendance was Masa Alkodsi, the first recipient of the brand new TROA/ERAU scholarship award.
